Just moved in. Landlord had a clause in the lease stating there are to be no pets allowed in the apartment. But yet, in the week I've been here, the lady in the apartment below me has a loud ass barking dog that runs around smashing into the wall all day and barks at me whenever I walk past her door as I'm heading out. What kind of mind games is the landlord playing here? Do as I say not as I do?
Have a good day, I hope your neighbor's dog gets eaten by a spider.

It's a good extra source of income for the landlord, and restricting pets to certain apartments means that the next tenant won't mind the residual smell. There's probably also a set of apartments reserved for cigarette smokers, for the same reason.
