Yeah this questions probably been asked a lot here but what's some genuinely useful lifeskills for a 18 year old lad to cultivate. I'm also interested in making big bux so also plz post some skills for that too.

This but unironically. Problemsolving sounds like an annoying ass thing that self help blogs or posts about... anything really use just to increase the ammount of text being submitted but there is a point in life in which you legit begin to question just how smart other people really are and if they are even able to solve issues or they just re-apply lessons learned earlier perpetually. The answer to that question is often dissapointing.
But if you are retarded and you can't do that then plumbing is cool because it teaches a ton about the usual DIY stuff, if you find a hobby or accesible activity that let's you not be clueless in a hardware store after a year of practicing it then you are doing well.
If you want good money then being an electrician pays decently well nowdays, and what is not said often enough is that it WILL pay even better in the future when the current old workers die off and nobody replaces them. With that rationale in mind you are also on the best moment to stroke the ego of an old boomer that can teach you how to do esotheric wizardry on his trade as a reward.

Learn and read up all of the tax laws and codes for your area. If you're US, that means both State and Federal taxes. If International, that means not only the taxes where you live, but the taxes of where you sell.
Most people think of taxes as 'boring shit you pay money into'. But actually when you dig into it, you start seeing a lot of perfectly valid seeming loopholes.
For example, a lot of YouTuber bastards claim expenses on things they want to own by incorporating the "surprise opening" onto the video itself, and claiming it as a business expense (E.G. declaring it a prop or tool for the purposes of acting). As a result, they actually reduce their outgoing expenses.
I once reducing my taxes so much the government owed *me* money. Admittedly it was like, $4, but man that felt so good for a 'no u' to be perfectly valid.
Just keep all receipts of expenditures. Scan copies and keep them in a folder + backup. If you can't prove it, you can't claim it.

Disclaimer:also the above is not financial advice, it is literally an advisory to do your own research, speak with a tax accountant professional etc, and is merely my speculative opinion.

Why should an 18 yr old loser care about tax loopholes? You need to have money and businesses to take advantage of that. And even then, if you have money and businesses you're probably already in contact with other rich people so you'd learn about taxes directly from them.

Stop goofing off with your friends as much and give thought over to your lifepath. Big money needs big discipline, so start saving and investing early so a woman you one day love can take it away from you through divorce.
