As a black guy, how do I stop hating my own race and become one of those cool, confident blacks that aren’t self aware about it?
Hang out with likeminded individuals of your same skin color. Brush up on Black American history and learn about the accomplishments of your people. Follow Black artists and scientists, etc. Being a "cool Black person" involves self-confidence in your race and racial history, not a lack of self-awareness. That would just make you an airhead.And also, probably don't use 4chan until you're more confident in yourself. The racial propaganda on here is strong. You'll find yourself making 'ironic' jokes about different races, until it becomes unironic. There are some progressives on here, but you'll be hard pressed to find one that doesn't say 'nigger' because all the cool kids are doing it.Good luck. Be nice to yourself and others.

Being in america makes you hate black people no matter what race you are because you are constantly exposed to the worst examples. If you never had to interact with another black person, the self hatred would go away on its own.

Empowerment is unlearning a bunch of biases that you might have picked up growing up consciously and unconsciously. There's a few popular black youtubers that can help you on this journey. They all have a common throughline of coming from some very culturally aware and pro black families but even thry testify to experiencing anti black conditioning growing up.
