I'm hot all the time. I have to sleep with ice packs in my bed and a fan on full blast. I have always hated the heat but I just can't take it anymore. I don't think I can last another summer.Humans are warm blooded mammals, we have no business living in places like Florida, unlike alligators, lizards, snakes, bugs, etc. There's a reason we migrated out of Africa and to Norway and Russia.
europoors will do anything but get an air conditioner
>>34395749You have mold everywhere. Windows not openable.
>>34395819Lol nobody has mold unless your roof is leaking. There is very little humidity in the air here this is not bongistan

need answers.
>>34395969specifically, what can I do to make my body generate less heat
>>34395358Get your thyroid checked, I guess. If it's running high, that can make you hot. But I think it's more likely that the room is too hot than that you are, and air conditioning will fix that.
>>34395358Try losing weight
>>34395358Unless this is all in your head, there may be a physiological cause, possibly a missing or overactive hormone, which could be controlled medically
>>34395358If you're too poor for an AC unit, these *might* help.1) Ventilate the house during the cold parts of the night. If you have a loft hatch, leave it open so hot air rises and escapes through the top. This means a lot of windows open. If you hate insects, get screens for the window.2) Soak a shirt in cold water, and wring it out so it is very damp but not dripping. Wear it just before going to bed. Combine it with...3) Point a fan at yourself. Even if it's a low speed fan. What noise you can tolerate depends, but I find the noise more tolerable than the heat. Be sure to drink plenty of water so you sweat.4) Remove humidity from the air so sweat evaporates more effectively. This will also help with your mold problem. Dehumidifiers come in all sorts of sizes.5) Swap your bed blanket for literally a super thin bed sheet. Even "thin" blankets will still trap heat in at night.Part 1/2
>>34395358Part 2/26) Cold shower yourself periodically. That means no or very little hot water. You do not need to use soap if you're poor, just a quick rinse to help with cooling.7) Keep as many electrical devices turned off at night. Every single one converts every watt of electricity into heat. That 500 watt PC? That's 500 watts of heat. My PC during winter shuffles the *entire house* temperature by about 3 degrees upwards.8) Switch from a PC to a laptop and avoid running CPU intensive things (like image generators or video games) on it until cooler periods.9) Close the door in the kitchen, and when the heat of the kitchen exceeds the outside temperature, open the kitchen window, allow the heat to escape, then shut it again (so you don't let in the hot air from outside).10) Shut blinds and deflect sunlight keeping it outside. Install awnings and external window shutter flaps to block sunlight.A lot of people have cool houses overnight, but then stupidly open the windows during the day letting all the heat from outside in.I'm able to coast at room temps until about mid-day.If the heat is extremely overwhelming, if you have a bathtub, sit in it and slowly fill it with cold water. You will eventually drop your exterior body temperature.

OP here>>34397320>>34397322Believe it or not, I've actually got most of these down. The rest, Ill be sure to try. Except for the mold stuff, idk where that came from. And I do have A/C. The problem is not so much a problem in the house (except for the bed), as it is outside. Anything above 75 degrees is pretty uncomfortable>>34396499I;m 5'10 and 150lbs
>>34395358I knew someone else like this. He used to work in a frozen foods warehouse. You are special. You should get paid for it.
