Log story short i'v been offered a job proposition on the island as a field tech.
I'm a French citizen so no visa or paperwork needed.
The company will provide accommodations (the rest is on me)

Problem is, i can't really calculate if the salary is ok or not, its very hard to find reliable informations about the cost of living, i just know that its high but there is no details beyond that.

you know anon I'm not really a vacation or exotic destination fag but you've been handed a once in a lifetime opportunity. Do with that what you will

So you would only be paying for food. And food there isn't only likely to cost 1.5 times what it costs for you where you live now. That means your expenses while living there will be extremely low (relatively) due to not needing to pay rent or utilities.

The only downside to island living is that you will be in a much smaller pool of people to interact with, and you will have a lot less access to goods and services. So anything you can't buy locally has to be imported, so you have to get used to anything you order online taking a month or two to show up. Or just forego such kind of spending while you are there and put it into savings instead.

It being an undesirable job offer is just going to depend on whether you are open to trying to live in a new and unfamiliar location.

how is it even a question

bum who lives on St Barths is better than millionaire who has to live in Helsinki

Lookup images of local grocery prices, menus, touristy areas VS local areas. Also look at tech cost for import.

This anon is right. Just be happy you're not in canada, or some other 2nd world shitfest.

literally took me 60 seconds in gmaps are you functionally retarded?
>>
>>34404927
Thats baguettes, what about other foods ?
>>
>>34404939
i wasn't offering to literally find the price for everything you'd ever need, but rather to demonstrate that discovering prices from local images was a trivial task that could be accomplished in less than a minute
>>

To me that seems to be a once in a lifetime opportunity and I'd take it. If I didn't like it there or tge cost of living were too high I'd just move back
>>

Don't take the job anon you sound way too retarded for it.
