empirically no

Yes.
1. Its always easy to make less money.
2. The wage gap kicks in later in life. Women making more is usually very temporary
3. She has the choice to get pregnant
>>
>>34403664
yeah, as long as both peoples needs are met. i honestly wouldnt mind being a househusband because i love kids
>>
>>34403664
Some professions just pay less than others. A unuiversity professor, book author and world's foremost authority in his field will make less than his wife the advertising executive. Does that make him less worthy?
>>
I just assumed this is insanely common in 2026- I’ve never made more than any girl I’ve dated (I’m broke)
>>
>>34403664
If it's not absurdly more. Like as long as you passably fit in the same economic class and you can afford to do the things she likes.
>>

I've been married for 15 years. She made more than I did during the first 6 years, then I made more for 2 years. Then I was a stay at home dad for 2 years. I've made more than her for the years since then. It's only an issue if one or both of you are insecure about it.
>>
If you can have kids yes but otherwise you are just side piece along for the ride until she gets bored.

This post is horrifying.

At first I thought he was saying that you shouldn't measure yourself by your job. But this guy is saying that you absolutely should... just that the salary can sometimes diverge.

Yeah, your worth as a human being is your job. Great advice. Get the fuck off this board

NTA, but what? I don't think this is what he's saying. It's a rhetorical question.

He is saying that a person can do a lot and be very capable and successful in his field, and still earn less than the other, and that that doesn't make them less worthy than the one who earns more.
>>
>>34403664
yes, as long as you aren't dependent on her (emotionally AND financially)
>>34407818
>you aren't defined by the thing you spend half of your waking life doing
NTA but get a grip, an education, and a job, in that order. then come back and tell us if it doesn't define you.
>>
>>34403664
yeah but it usually doesnt

this seems like a bait or off topic thread
