Lyft specifically states that it's pet friendly ride is for four people and one "well behaved animal". My dog can be reactive, but he's mainly a big cry baby when he's riding in a car. Will that be a problem when trying to Lyft with him? I don't want to find out when I actually need the Lyft

Thanks for the advice

sorry anon this site is fucked
bait everywhere you go :/
>>34403682
it sounds like a nightmare for everyone involved, including both you and the dog and the driver
i hope it's a short drive

It's cool man, it's just been a long day

The drive isnt far, and im used to the crying. I just hope the driver doesn't end the ride because of all his hair or whining

ah that's good

you didn't mention if the dog is small or medium or large, but that might make a difference

i've never used lyft (hopefully other anons have advice), but could you just order a new lyft driver if he drops you off halfway there?
it might be inconvenient, but still

in this case, you could also try getting a lyft for something non-urgent, and see how it goes
but that'd cost money to attempt, i guess

Oh yeah, I should have specified. He's a German Shepard, so he's already a little intimidating. I plan to try and get him tired before the car ride, but I worry that won't stop him.

Should the driver drop me off halfway, I'm not gonna have to pay for that right?
>>

Yeah I'm trying to get him a ride to the vet. If I'm going to do a test run, I might as well go all the way

probably will, the companies are predatory
idk though
>Oh yeah, I should have specified. He's a German Shepard, so he's already a little intimidating. I plan to try and get him tired before the car ride, but I worry that won't stop him.
idk what you mean by "get him tired" but that might make him even more unpredictable, so be careful
>>34405124
if he can walk, maybe you could walk the rest of the way if the driver cancels
or carry him
>>
>>34403682
What is "reactive" and "cry baby" to you is likely to be "badly behaved" to others
>>
>>34405771
My main concern is I'll be denied a ride because of his attitude
>>
>>34403682
i'm sure most people will be sympathetic, especially if he's a small dog and not doign any physical damage
>>
>>34405999
He's large. Won't damage anything, but he sheds a lot of will pant and cry a bunch
>>
>>34406004
Hm, that might scare some people off. If you explain to them when they arrive they might go along with it. Also might want to bring something to lay down for any shedding. Or perhaps call a relative for a ride.
>>
>>34403682
It's your dog, of course you can tolerate its whining or whatever. The driver will not appreciate it, it isn't his dog, he has no emotional attachment to it. Also, those brownies are fucking gross, the worst store-bought brownie you could eat.

Lyft mentions bringing a towel of they can't stay at my feet. I hope he won't be an issue
