Which Christian denomination is the best option for people with average 100-110 IQ and a basic high school education?
is it bait?
>>34405077I assume you mean for someone who wants to follow the faith blindly but not study it. I suggest orthodoxy.
>>34405077Any one is fine IMO. There are deep philosophical and theological studies and reflections, but generally speaking you don't need a super high IQ or education to pursue religious endeavors. Keep in mind the Jesus' disciples were mostly simple men, and that didn't stop them from living by His words and preaching His teachings. It may sound a bit cliché, but the most important thing is that you understand and reflect about it in your heart.
>>34405089>follow the faith blindly but not study it.Yeah not studying too much and trying to spread the word, but just following it, understanding it, and living my life.
Keep the elitism and passive aggressive faggot attitude in Judaism and atheism where it belongs. We have enough posers already, no thanks.
>>34405077>100-110 IQMormonismSwedenborgianismGnosticismReal Christianity is for low iq retards and non whites.
>>34405077Go church-shopping.Attend a different church each Sunday until you find one you like. It is perfectly permissible and you can even tell them that's what you're doing.
>>34405077Non denominational is the only way to go. I've seen aliens and angels, nothing is true.
>>34405077Jehovah Witnesses are the least educated.
>>34405077The Anglican/Episcopalian church is probably the least extreme and least damaging one.
>>34405849Also by far the most supportive of gay and transbeings if that sort of thing is important to you.
>>34405165Faith is built on knowledge, and for that you're going to have to study. Even having the notion of wanting to "live your life" means what you're after is shallow and performative, because Christianity is inherently about guiding and transforming your life. Christianity isn't a badge you stick on your sleeve while you go about your usual business. Your entire life has to change in order to accommodate right conduct, and for that you absolutely must study enough to learn what right conduct is. Reading the Bible isn't sufficient. You also need the works of the saints and preferably even pre-Christian philosophy so that you can understand the whole picture.
>>34405077The King James Bible. Nothing else
>>34405077Any of them, all of them.... Id say just go to church.
Are you looking for a social club, business club, or to worship God? meh. doesn't matter. I don't know social or business clubs and no one wants to worship God..
>>34405077>I want a Christian denomination with high intelligenceConsider theological study, especially church history, cultural context and translating word etymologies from the uncial codex's etc.>>34405165>I want to follow the faith blindly but not study it.Eh, those most of the churches out there are contextualized to this exact mentality. Listening but never learning, absorbing but never giving back. In the end it's all just clanging symbols...Non-denominational has the most amount of normies if you want a rock and roll pastor who talks about the Croods mid sermon (no I am not joking). If you like history and stricter traditions try Catholicism or Orthodox churches as they are the oldest but a bit more upper class with context outside the word, they are extremely traditionalist. >>34405979>Faith is built on knowledgeCouldn't have said it better. If your being spoon-fed the Bible to "be good and go to heaven" through works alone you've entirely missed the plot of scripture. The church is a place of fellowship, where you can meet others of the faith, join together in worship, study and action. You must read and understand the word further to truly follow the path God has laid out before you.
>>34405753You can mention it, but why? I suppose it is more honest, but when you mention that they'll go more into recruiting mode than if you don't say anything. If you don't say anything, you get a more normal experience of what that church is. I think you don't know how a church is until after 2 or 3 times of going to one really. The big part is also the community after the service. I just tried a church on Easter because of my mom's friend. Besides her, the rest of the community was parents and elderly. I cannot relate well to either. Some parents were my age, but they're also don't stick around to socialize because they need to get their kids home. So after 1 visit of that church, I know that the community one I can relate to.
>>34410263>high intelligence100 IQ is literally the average. That is how IQ is measured. If you survey a group of people, 100 will always be the average IQ, regardless of if the room is full of geniuses or idiots. When most people say "IQ" they are talking about national average.
>>34410206Good question even if you have no answer. I'm not OP but this has been one of my problems with Church. If I'm worshiping God, I just go to the service and leave, no socialization. I don't get to know anyone. It has been said worship in fellowship, but I also believe that I can worship anywhere and so usually just do so at home. I don't feel like I get anything from going to church. I could go for socialization but that feels hypocritical. Yet it would also be a good way to meet like-minding people and make friends, which is hard to do. As with friends and business, the more people you speak with, the more opportunity you have. I'm also single and cannot stand dating apps, bars, or clubs. Church has been suggested to me as a location where I might meet her. However, again this brings me back to my feeling of hypocrisy if I were to enter a church for any purpose besides worship.
>>34405077I know this is bait but I hear sentiments like this sometimes. You don't shop for a religion that "suits" you, you must do what you think is correct. I'm Catholic even though it doesn't suit me in many ways because I believe it's true.
>>34406184>The King James Bible. The one that mentions unicorns.
>>34406184King James was violently gay.>>34405077Orthodox
You should pick either Catholicism or Orthodoxy based on what your gut says
abrahamic religions are a blight upon the earth
