My (F30) Ex's (M32) GF (FM35?) never believes me about the experiences I suffered from my ex and she's trying to ruin my life. I had endured 8 years of him complaining about my health and weight to the point that I was malnourished. I have given up my wants just to make him happy. He even gave me expired sanitary pads from his mom. I only had courage to leave him during the pandemic since he doesn't like going outside and only wants me to visit him but at that time, I couldn't due to restrictions.

I see a lot of posts in this place from teens and early 20s and I figure they will eventually grow up and get over their silly 'problems.' but you are 30, why do you give a shit about what your ex is doing and who he is with? focus on improving the aspects of your life you can control, presumably your health, weight, and income. those are the things that will have a permanent impact on your well being. not social media drama
