I am in the US thinking of starting a college certificate program for medical billing and coding. It's $3295 and I'm thinking of taking out a small loan to cover it. I only have about $250 a month to spend on myself if I take out a 12 month loan. Honestly have been paralyzed in making this decision because of the commitment and not having a lot of free money for myself. Would you take it?It would roughly take me 6 months to complete, and after completing and passing the exam for credentials, I would have the opportunity to get better paying jobs than what I have currently. It helps I have billing experience and work currently as a receptionist.

receptionist seems comfy, depending on the people u have to deal withi sometimes picture doing that (i am a neet)
if it were over $10,000 (like getting a degree), i'd be much more nervousbut $3000 doesn't seem life-changigly risky, u could probably find a way to pay it off even if things go wrong

Basically what I meant was this: after all my expenses and the loan (the loan is $289.68 a month), I would have roughly $260 a month to spend on whatever. That amount just feels tight, so it's made me really think on this for a couple days. I'm paying off other stuff like my phone before committing to make sure I have as much as humanly possible.I'm most likely going to do it. I just always hesitate at things that make me uncomfortable.

>>34406688It's kind of comfy. I just get bored easily and run out of things to do.

Is this something job listings are specifically looking for? Or more of something that you feel will set you apart and distinguish your resume?
Does the program have any job placement guarantees or continued support once it's finished?
>>34407960>Is this something job listings are specifically looking for?Yes. For the jobs I'm looking for in the field of the program, they require a specific credential. The program I'm planning to take will prepare me for the exam to get said credential>>34408073>Does the program have any job placement guarantees or continued support once it's finished?Unfortunately not.
