I have a lot of free time and want to use it to get good at something. I go the gym, college, and work so I can only stick to "one" thing. I want to get good at it for my own personal satisfaction. I'd also like to make friends off of it, and go to interesting places/events because of it. My choices:
>Singing (especially rock music)
>Drawing (mostly stylized visuals like video game art)
>Learning a language (maybe Japanese or Spanish)

I would put way more choices but I'm currently broke and ride the bus. If you had to choose, which one would you pick and why?

None of these, because you're a fraud. If you wanted to get good at it, you would already be doing so, unprompted.

Think about a goal you actually want (like imagine something you really want), then the steps needed to get there. Do they actually require you to know how to sing, draw, or speak a foreign language?

If you simply want to make friends, go to interesting places/events, and attain "personal satisfaction" - no, you don't need to learn how to do the above. You can just go to events you find interesting, speak to people you find interesting, and stumble across "personal satisfaction" at one point when something/somebody actually inspires you to pursue something else.

>go to events to find friends
but events of WHAT, real ass nigga? thats the point of the hobby. to have a reason to go to places. but i guess i am limiting myself here. maybe i can open up more. i tried rock climbing but i just... cant care about it? same with pottery. i met a lot of cool people in a japanese language class but didnt have social media at the time so they i never saw them again

Whatever events that interest you. You don't need a "pre-requisite level" to attend, they aren't gatekept. When you find inspo then you can build your skills up alongside others, which would be even better for your "make friends" goal. And yes you'll probably need some social media to maintain contact with ppl
