I live in a shithole where poverty and criminality is rampant. My countrymen aren't interested in doing any better, most of them seem okay with living such stagnant lives. I've kept my nationality undisclosed as it is a major source of shame. I hate this place so much I've made moving out my main goal (which I'm not even sure if I'll fulfill). Not everything here is bad, the local cuisine is delicious I guess, but the bad outweighs the good for me. How can I live with that?
You already answered it. Move
>>34407509>(which I'm not even sure if I'll fulfill)What's stopping you? Family? Money? Some kind of compromise? There's something holding you back given the way you worded this. If you have no attachment to your country then leaving shouldn't be an issue.
>>34407509A lot of our origins are bad even in America, the greatest country EVER.
>>34407509Way I see it, some options are:>study and work hard so that you may try to live in another country>do the same as the above and try to move to a safer part of your own country. Also keep in mind that sometimes we idealize that other countries are much better than ours, that they don't have their own share of problems as well, but it usually isn't the case.Don't be ashamed of your origins, never lower your head and think of yourself as inferior to people living in other countries. I don't know what's your nationality, but I'm sure it has its fair share of hard working and decent people, too. The outsiders are people just like your fellow countrymen.
