How morally wrong is it to knowingly have sex with a girl in a relationship? She and I got close and she revealed that she was unhappily in an ldr (across the world) that had gone on for 6 years. I knew it was bad to continue but I couldn't help myself and slept with her last night. I know she is more wrong than I am, but I feel like a bit of a piece of shit right now and don't know how I should proceed. Do I continue pursuing a woman who has clearly proven herself to be a cheater because I like her?
Tell her boyfriend and get her in a heap of shit. maybe cooperate with him to get back at her and make her self reflect.
>>34410729Usually the healthy thing is to tell her to come back when shes fully ended things. However, if you've been in a dry spell for a while its understandable. I think Jesus will be disappointed but ultimately forgive you. Just remember that since she didnt end things and cheated, she will do the same thing to you.
>>34410729>Do I continue pursuing a woman who has clearly proven herself to be a cheater because I like her?No. She will cheat on you.
>>34410729she will cheat on you. Once a cheater always a cheater. Goes without saying you should slowly slip out and forget about it.
>>34410729>she was unhappily in an ldr (across the world) that had gone on for 6 yearsYou’re completely fine
>>34410729>Do I continue pursuing a woman who has clearly proven herself to be a cheater because I like her?If you want her to do the same to you later...
>>34410754Cheating isn’t okay. Even if she’d cheat with someone else anyways, OP need not contribute
>>34410729It's not the worst thing in the world but it is a cowardly, honorless act. No use in beating yourself up over it but it is time to stop. And no, do not continue. If she cheats on him she will cheat on you.
>>34410729She has no spineDo not pursue, it'll bite you in the ass
>>34410729>How morally wrong is it to knowingly have sex with a girl in a relationship?Very. >Do I continue pursuing a woman who has clearly proven herself to be a cheater because I like her?If you like, but she'll cheat on you too.
>>34410729LDR's aren't real relationships though. That's just the internet era equivalent of ye olde pen pal.
>>34410736I'm not interested in ruining her. I'm not too blind to see her issues, but she's not an evil person underneath, and what I've done is arguably just as bad (as a man obviously I actively made advances and all she did was not say no)>>34410738It's hard to do that because we're neighbors, go to the same university, are part of overlapping friend groups, we share a cat, etc., and also she's a bit spineless and scared to end things. He's visiting in about 6 weeks but luckily I won't be around for that.>>34412724It was not ldr for the first 3 years, but the last 3 were. She told me that she's changed a lot as a person while he's stayed the same, which is why she's become unhappy with the relationship. They only see each other twice per year.I know it's selfish of me to continue but I fear I won't have any other opportunities, considering it took about a year of living here to even get this much. Besides, since we've already screwed each other is it really that different doing it repeatedly?
>>34410729Don't think about morality. Think about yourself and if you can not get too attached.
>>34413037had a 2 year ldr where my ex gf was starting to like someone else for a week. that's when I ended things, it wasn't anything more, and I still felt extremely betrayed and angry.I mean, she owes him loyalty, it's not your responsibility, but I guess I wouldn't wanna be involved with this shit.People say fuck morals etc, but if you feel like shit, I think that's saying something. I think it can erode one's confidence. Maybe quit while you're ahead. You know she was dtf (=you're not unfuckable), you got your rocks off, I'd probably call it quits here.
>>34410729humans are rarely completely moral or amoralmost people dabble in grey territorieswhoever tells you different is usually not aware of their own moral failingsanyways I usually only care about the girl cheating with me if the dude seems like a solid dude who doesn't deserve it. if the dude looks like he could be cheating on the side or is a terrible person in general I actually make an effort to creampie her before they meet and stuff like that.
>i feel bad for fucking a girl that's already in a relationship but i won't stop doing it and run away like a little bitch when the boyfriend comes visit in a few weeksYou clearly don't want any advice and I hope this same thing happens to you someday. And actually I hope this same woman does it unless you're not as stupid as you sound and have some sense to not look for anything serious with a cheating slut.
People all have their own interpretations of morality but cheating is usually considered wrong across the board. I perceive morality as how would you feel if the tables were turned(how would you feel about the boyfriend if he was the cheater and you were the one in a ldr?)?
