I'm 5'8 and she's 5'1. I feel my height is the absolute minimum for a guy, and 5'1 will likely result in sons averaging 5'6 or so. I've dated 5'4s and 5'5s with no issue, so I know I can get someone taller. Other than that, I genuinely like her, including her height & petite frame.

So unless you're both part of a long line of people under 5'6 you're probably putting way too much stock into how powerful your individual genetic outcomes are.And as an example of what else you could be thinking about, if either of you have genes that cause a predisposition for spinal issues, it wouldn't matter if you and your partner were both 6 feet tall if the kid ends up with scoliosis.Not to mention the very real possibility you roll the dice and end up creating a Downie, a nonverbal autist, or a kid who suddenly has a fucking aneurysm during his wedding. You have so very little control over how genetics play out without something like CRISPR that if you're both generally healthy people, that's about as much as you can hope for.
