I think I would be quite good at it except for the online stuff.
I am pretty decent with a camera and have been trying to legally take sneaky images of people in public and learned a lot about angles, camera settings and how to blend in.
I know most of it is just finding evidence of a cheating spouse or tracking fraudsters and what not.

Any help in regards to what a basic PI needs to know and do is appreciated.
I know I have to get a license in my country and likely will have to start working for somebody else.
But my goal is to have my own company at some point.

Also as a safety precaution what is a good defense tool to carry?
I am not from the USA so guns are illegal unless you have a license and you cant really carry it openly or concealed or even just store it in your car.
