What are you supposed to talk about all day at work?
I just got a job and while I'm fine when I'm doing shit, when there's downtime I'm all stiff and awkward and I don't know what to talk about with my coworkers. Besides, I feel like since you're basically spending all day with your coworkers, you'll eventually run out of shit to say. What do I do then?

Tell them about your life and they will tell about theirs. That's how humans build confidence.
You are the most interested in learning to be normal, so put the most effort.

it's good to make jokes about whatever's "topical" at the time, this is one reason to glance at the news occasionally

you can also ask people questions about themselves, this can take some burden off of you for the conversation while flattering the other person

ultimately, it's more important the way you come across when you speak, more than whatever vapid shit u want to talk about
just try to make people comfortable around you

and try not to act like you're invested in whatever current events/politics are going on, that'll just invite trouble/argument
it's actually BETTER to be lighthearted and make jokes

normies get all bugged out/anxious about news, so you should try to position yourself as the charming haunted house character they can cling to when they're scared

Weather, sports, TV/movies, etc... Keep it light until you know other people's specific interests. Don't sperg out on shit and get all detailed and nerdy. Also read the room, dont try to talk to someone forever.

Thank you, anons. It's just that my autism is acting up and I'm putting way too much effort into looking normal and not, like, spacing out.

Do they know about the jews? People should know. Abortion is also a good topic, regardless.

I don't talk to coworkers except for work related stuff. I don't care about them personally and their opinions

I talk about anime with my coworkers

Sometimes the coworkers are anti social cunts, take part and make the effort but don’t turn against yourself if you fail, take the positives when you can and use each failure as a learning experience
