I'm thinking of buying some Bitcoin, is this a smart move in your opinion? Please don't refer me to /biz/, that's the worst board on here
Nohttps://karlin.blog/p/the-partys-over
>>34418948The fact that Bitcoin literally does not exist won't discourage you, nor will the fact that its price is extremely volitile (People who bought 4 monthsa ago have lost almost 50% of their investment). So hold this in your head - ANYONE who encourages you to buy Bitcoin owns some and is trying to sell it, so if they want out, they must think it's a lousy investment
its better than holding fiat, always buy when its down and you will eventually make money, like now, 2 previous posters stated "no", which means euphoria is gone, so thats a good time to buy someby down i mean 50% or more from ath, you can buy in segments down to like 70% from ath, anything beyond that is balls deep buy, but unlikelythats for longterm buy of course, i will sell when i either need the money or the sentiment flips into absolute greed, you will knowkeep in mind no one on the internet will tell you exactly what to do, everyone has some kind of agenda/conviction, so try to make your own picture
>>34418948Buy it, but i would recommend buying some boomerslop such as stocks too. And maybe a little bit of silver. Probably safer than bitcoin.
>>34418948Buying crypto isn't investing, it's gambling. Treat it the same way you would treat going to a casino and betting on the roulette wheel.
>>34419465This. It's not income, just entertainment. If you want income you should invest in a business and earn dividends
>>34418948What is your goal? To save or to make money?
>>34419782Preferably make money
>>34419795Then the answer is no. Buying bitcoin is not a smart move.
Don't do it. My dad got into bitcoin and was scammed for all his savings. Keep it in a savings account, high yield to make money passively that way. No investment risk, or stock, or any crypto shit. Fdic insured high yield savings account is the best answer.
