I recently started a college STEM course, how do I network and meet people that will help me get wealthy?
I had to move to another city and I know practically nobody here; I'm also not the best at social interactions in general and I'm feeling pretty lost right now.

NTA but is there even any point in going to college if you can't network?

honestly just make friends, be opportunistic socially
make small talk with people you do projects with, and with staff/faculty when possible
try to make a good impression during presentations

it boils down to being very present & in the moment, and not overthinking

friends will open up weird opportunities later on, you can get your foot in like 50 doors by the time you're done with college if you do it right

don't let your personality grate on people either, though, if that makes sense

By networking. What this really means are actions and activities that put you in front of people in a good light.

That means basics like showing up to class and not being an annoying retard to the professor and going to office hours and asking questions rather than sitting there like some geeked out zoomer on thier phone.

However, you can also be the one that shows initiative. Do you use discord? I would start a Discord channel for every one of my classes and encourage classmates to share notes and collaborate on projects there. My cousin did that on my request and he was telling me it was like, 80 percent faster absorption of material simply because you can mass text the class with no pressure and get notes, help, whatever.

It also means attending extracurriculars and networking events. If the professor recommends something, do it, go, etc.

Show initiative. Like, if one your project mate is a completely retarded faggot and doesn't do his work, you all pitch in and do his work, document it, and show the professor instead of bitching and expecting the professor to do something.
