As a man who doesn't get a lot of dates, I feel that my standards are "low" but I have to keep them that way otherwise I definitely would never ever get dates. My standards are basically as follows for a woman.>Not obese(doesn't have to be skinny)>No kids but wants kids>Doesn't smoke or drugs(maybe vaping is okay). I have a lot of leeway in my standards. Then I look at the standards women have men and its waaaaaaay more. I can't even imagine having more standards because it would shrink my dating pool an insane amount. I'd literally not get any dates ever. I have read that people should be dating from positions of "abundance" but what does that even mean? I can assure you that my dating life does NOT have an abundance of options. My dating life is a fucking desert. Just not sure what I can do standards wise. Also to note, any standard I do have, I hold myself to the same ones. So I am not obese and I am in shape, I have no kids but want them, I don't smoke or do drugs. Is that fair or not really? I just want to figure out what my standards should even be like or rather what KIND of standards am I even allowed to have?

OP here. I don't desire to date women far below my age. Actually, I just prefer women who are + or - maybe 4-5 years to myself. I am 32. I would honestly never want to date a woman who is like 18.
