20f, ask whatever other information might be relevant
subject is exactly what it sounds like. i am a moonfaced puffy coping bitch hoping to mask my buttery build with long hair, but i have always preferred short cute hairstyles; i just don't think it goes well with my rotund face.
i am ~106lbs, 5'4. i am "skinnyfat," i don't really know how to workout but i try to eat healthy and do cardio.
i want cute short hair. tips to help me unround my face?

>i am ~106lbs, 5'4. i am "skinnyfat," i don't really know how to workout but i try to eat healthy and do cardio.
you should probably try higher intensity stuff than cardio
maybe write a bit about what ur diet is like?

try not to beat yourself up too much, it doesn't help anything
>>
>>34423124
i try to stick to high protein and most of my carbs are fruits and veg. i am guilty of sweet treat consumption as well as some bread here and there, but i really try to minimize my simple carb intake.
i think better exercise can help, but it appears to me that cardio helps overall fat loss, which would help face fat loss, or am i wrong?
>>
what about the stone thing where you push it along your face and it empties some kind of pores idk, but ive seen a video where a girl did it on only half of her face and it was a visible difference
>>
>>34423118
You sound cute

you cannot reduce the fat in your face directly without some sort of surgery, you probably are just genetically predisposed to have more fat in that facial area. if you wanna just lose fat in general then you need to eat less but you seem like you're at a healthy bw and you might just have some self-image issues. anyways the advice of eat less is kinda trite but its true, i think most people tend to be too strict on their diets in terms of what food they eat when they should be more strict about how much they eat, every other method is cope

i doubt that would fix anything besides maybe water retention (temporarily)

i see, that's good

well the thing is, cardio is usually inferior to intense exercise or just not eating
cardio is very good for your heart, but so are things like HIIT which build muscle as well
ketogenic diet and/or fasting are the best for losing weight quickly, but if you're skinnyfat it might be a bad idea, ur better off building some muscle first

u should also know, weight loss is like 80% diet and 20% exercise, generally
people sometimes break themselves on a rock of an impossible workout routine and get frustrated when they can't lose weight, so try not to do that
take a more experimental approach until u find a combination of diet/exercise which works

if ur skinnyfat, higher-intensity exercise can help you have more muscle instead, which will make you healthier and less prone to injury as well
higher intensity exercise will also let you get away with eating more carbs/sugar, but still try to minimize it
>>
if you're doing nothing but cardio, skinnyfat is actually the optimal body distribution for jogging long distances xd
and also the carbs really serve no purpose, so literally any bread/sweet is gonna go straight to your fat, more or less

but with HIIT or muscle building, those simple carbs are used for building muscle after it's damaged from the workout, along with protein
so you could probably get away with the diet you have rn if you do higher intensity exercise, like i said

i should also mention, i hope you aren't drinking much soda or juice, that shit is insane amounts of sugar & a lot of people overlook it
try to drink only water before worrying about diet in any way

that's all i can think of right now

a kettlebell is a cheap piece of workout equipment you can use for higher intensity workouts, there's a lot you can do with it, it's cheap, and takes up almost no space in ur house
there are other options too though, including just bodyweight exercise/calisthenics, whatever you like
>>
unless you're like 250+ lbs weight loss won't do anything

it's all avoid salt, avoid alcohol, drink enough water
>>

5 years ago when I was overweight with a puffy face (194lbs, 6'2") I was able to lose 15lb and get back my normal face in about 3-4 months by eating until I felt 3/4 full and drinking water for the final 1/4. Mostly protein and vegetables, grains and carbs highly reduced. No sugar (other than fruits).
Though for you 106lbs isn't overweight in the slightest. Idk maybe you have water retention? Do you eat a lot of salt?
>>
>>34423203
ive found it, the stone is called gua sha, you can ask gpt how it works but esentially you have oil drains in your face that have no natural pumps, meaning it gets moved/emptied with only your muscle movements, which leaves some undrained, everyone has it different

ive seen a video on twitter where a lady did only half of her face and it was a visible difference
>>
>>34423200
ragghhh true. i am supposed to be "in recovery" from anorexia so unfortunately i cannot do much more than just avoid carbs. i guess maybe cut back on oil but i eat a lot of eggs which i prefer scrambled or fried :P guess i'll have to try poached
>>
>>34423172
gua sha, i've heard of it but i think >>34423203 is correct about it having minimal effects ;(
>>34423203
i will be trying HIIT then! i did it a few weeks as a teen but i imagine i should go longer for actual difference. thanks :)
>>34423207
i tend to stick to water and a small morning coffee with a spoon of sugar and some milk but i do have some orange juice now and then
>>34423219
up my water intake, i hear!

Aren't you already skinny? Do you have a fat in your belly? Like, if you don't have fat in your belly, it could get dangerous losing more weight.

If you find yourself struggling with depression, having really bad brain fog, no energy, and so on, you might want to try putting on a bit of weight, like 10-15 pounds. I was the same height and weight at that age, but when I started eating three meals a day with as much protien as I can manage, it helped those issues a lot.
I have the same insecurities with my face, so I was worried it would only get worse if I put on weight, but trust me, it won't change your face and the weight on the body is not noticeable. But if you're doing fine, you can disregard

Unfortunately it's a lot of gray area, and it's a really hard thing to measure improvement in. If you're in no rush, I'd probably try a bunch of different methods, one at a time for 1-3 weeks and see if anything is different. I'd probably start with diet, and try to have as minimal sugar, bread, processed junk, and salt (but I know it's good for electrolytes, so you should research the bare minimum you should consume a day, especially if you are working out); that's what I was planning to do. Good luck though, I hope things work out
>>
>>34423118
Did you just say, 106 lbs 5"4, skinny fat?
Are you fucking retarded or something?
You're near underweight
You have actual mental issues and need to get that looked at.

This whole fucking thread feels like bots making a thread and ignoring something obvious to get someone like me to comment, the Jewish machine is fucking working.
>>
>>34423253
Lmao I clocked you correctly. Get your fucking brain checked out this isn't normal, you're the farthest thing from fat you stupid fuck
I wish I could have your stupid body and face my life would probably be 1000 times better, get off this site you're just an easy-mode-life cunt sucking up the attention, there are REAL INCELS SUFFERING HERE AND YOU'RE COMPLAINING ABOUT HOW YOUR STEAK IS TOO JUICY
>>
>>34423771
really? i honestly thought it was brain fog from iron deficiency. i do often get 2-3 meals a day in, but i never seem to gain :(
>>34423771
my weight is not relevant, i just genuinely have a very round face. i don't like it very much
>>34423774
i'm very sorry you feel that way sister (?)
>>
>>34424579
if you still have a round face at 106 lbs then you likely just have a naturally round face. faces come in different shapes. mine is oblong, for instance. facial shape cannot be changed
>>
>>34423118
How sure are you that it is actually fat in your face? 106 lbs and 5'4 seems pretty skinny. It might be an hormonal issue. I think you said somewhere here that you had anorexia, which could cause such an hormonal imbalance. Your current weight could still cause it. How are your bodily functions? Cold hand and feet? Low body temperature in general? Bad sleep quality? Too little sleep? Menstrual cycle, etc.
If you have a low metabolic rate your cells get shitty. The become bad at using your glucose. Glucose builds up. Built-up glucose pulls water. If your have a hormonal imbalance, your might have too much estrogen. Estrogen also promotes water retention. And cortisol does, of course, too. But it also is the guy you ask when you want redistribution of water and shit (not in the socialist sense).
So sleep longer. Eat in a slight caloric surplus (calorie deficit makes cortisol). Make your vegetables well-cooked. Maybe change some protein for some short chained carbs. Eat dairy. If you do too much cardio it makes cortisol again. Do sum wight lifting instead. Muscle mass has a positive correlation with metabolic rate. Drink coffee. If you want blue eyes and cast spells together with Evola on Mussolini, also take aspirin.
>>
>>34424674
i *am* interested in blue eyes and spell casting, how did you know?!

i've definitely been trying to get in my calories lately, i suppose i'll keep on + perhaps try some minor diet changes. thank you for the advice :)
>>
>>34423118
>i am ~106lbs, 5'4. i am "skinnyfat,"
I really don't think you are. That height and weight gives you a BMI of around 18.2, which is really quite skinny. You can't safely lose any more weight at that size; you're probably under weight already.

If you can afford it, you could try buccal fat removal.
>>
>>34423118
There is no solution to genetics, look on the bright side and know that your face will at least age more gracefully.
>>34423172
Gua Sha drains lymphatic liquid, it can have an effect on your facial shape but it is a temporary remedy and not a substantial one.
>>
so, no offense to anons in this thread, but i've come to learn that no one actually knows what "skinnyfat" means

it denotes a person who is technically low/underweight, but whose body composition consists of more fat than muscle. i'm skinny, but i have more fat than muscle, so i appear pudgy and undefined. this makes me "skinnyfat".

i do eat healthy (and enough, thank you folks for the concern lol), but i don't work out often, and i am pretty physically weak. i have little to no muscle definition.

one can increase weight while lowering bodyfat percentage and overall measurements; this is because fat is less dense than muscle. this is why some strongmen and body builders are technically "overweight" according to BMI standards; they do not have a lot of fat, but their muscle mass is heavier.

i am unsure of my bodyfat percentage, but after a bit of research i am certain that i could develop more muscle over fat (body recomposition), and i think that'll help my "problem".
>>
hey girl, i used to have the same problem, and doing lymphatic massage every day completely debloated my face. I recommend doing with gasha for faster results but u can also do with your hands. I do this routine every day right after waking up: https://vt.tiktok.com/ZSH4LyV5L/
