I’m trying to replace my fill valve seal, but all the tutorials on YouTube have a different looking fill valve that is supposed to be a 400 series as well. Do I actually have a series 400, or is it something wrong with what I’m looking up, or maybe this is a modded 400? Please help.

I don't think the series matters, toilet fills and gaskets are universal, as far as I know. Any one you would find should fit

Yeah. That can be superseded by the more modern looking ones.

It's a Fluidmaster 400a
