How do I stop giving a shit about noise in the neighborhood? I've recently bought a cheap apartment in an old tenement house. As it turns out the neighbourhood is a bit questionable. I can stand the graffiti everywhere, or the fact that someone smashed the intercom with a hammer. I don't care that my neighbour has their door broken, I don't care that my neighbor has the word "whore" scrawled on her door, or that the yard outside her window is an absolute dump. I can just close my door and not see all of these things. Don't ask me why I got myself into this, I guess I'm that stupid. But what's really bothering me is that some douche a few streets over thinks everyone around him wants to hear the fucking bass coming out of his speakers. I have noise cancelling headphones, but I can't imagine having them on constantly.
>or that the yard outside her window is an absolute dumpthis is an error, I used google translator for a grammar check since I don't feel confident with my English and it screwed it up. I meant that I have trash outside of my window.
Save up and move out.
