I'm an engineering student. I plan to take some internships this summer but so far I get by everyone, literally no one is willing to hire me at all. This has been the third year I've been applying for internships and I still can't land a single fucking job. I've revising my resume countless of times, been optimizing my Linkedin profile multiple times, the results have been the same. The weird thing is that my peers have no problem landing internships at all, they are not particularly intelligent, their employment history are not extraordinary either, they are just regular people who are no better than me. Yet, I am still the only person who gets fucking rejected all the time. I'm starting to believe that I am getting ignored and instantly rejected because I have no social media, other than LinkedIn. I bet HR roasties see an autist who has no social media presence and reject him immediately. That's the only possible explanation.please tell me what the fuck I am doing wrong.? I'm so desperate for an answer right now.
networking is also important, do you network?

>image>am I the problem?yes, it's you, the internet fucked you upthrow all your devices in a river and join the amish
>>34440303explain why motherfucker
>>34440283there you have it, unless you're some sort of prodigy, you won't get nowhere without networking at least a bit
>>34440489my peers also do not do networking at all. They just get internships.
>>34440122Have you been utilizing your school resources to get you set up with an internship? Have you been speaking to any of your professors to ask if they have any connections or can offer any advice as to why you're being rejected? Literally the only people I know who never got internships in school never utilized any connections they could make through school programs or faculty. If your school doesn't offer these things, you're going to a dog shit school, sorry to say.
>>34440122>That's the only possible explanation. No it isn't. FAR more likely is that there is something basically wrong with your applications that labels you a loser. (It could be something as simple as typos or misspellings - the thinking is "If he can't even get his own selling piece right, he won't have high standards working for us.")Your college has a help-you-get-internships office. Work with them
