How do I stop excessive dreaming?

My dreams are fucking endless and just stress me out, the best sleep I get is when everything goes black then it's the next day.

Mostly bullshit situations, like being late at the airport, last minute rushing to the train, etc.

I've had this continuous dream over multiple days about being in Italy and trying to change a train ticket, then trying to cancel a hotel booking.
None of this shit actually happened, I've never been to Italy

I almost never dream. I also fap almost every night before sleep. Everyone's dream situations are different, but I've noticed that I usually only dream when I haven't jerked off before sleep, or more accurately if I'm on a 24 hour + no fap. My dreams aren't wet dreams either, I've only ever had two. I really do suspect that having pent up tension is a cause though. Not trying to say that jerking off is the only way. You might get the same results through other exercise or other things that release the calming chemicals in your body.

So for me at least, not dreaming seems to be directly related to fapping. That or I only dream when I travel, because I don't fap when I travel. But I've had home nights where I've skipped a fap and then had a dream, but not every time either. Like I said, people are different and results vary.

Other bed time things I do which may affect my lack of dreaming involve being on the computer right up until sleeping, I sometimes fall asleep with my laptop on me, or when noticing I am falling asleep I move it off and roll over. I also often listen to ASMR, more accurate girlfriend roleplay, but I haven't been dreaming long before starting that.

I don't know if it's just fapping or perhaps that your mind is just not calm enough. I find fapping calms me. Your dreams are also nightmares about running late. Do you run late to work or other things? Or are you usually on time but have a fear of being late?
