How do I function while on anti psychotics? I also take some other pills that are sedative and I just can't do anything when I take them. It's usually wake up then wait two hours then take them and sleep for ten hours wait and take them again. How do I get out of this cycle and how do I regain the control of my life? Stopping taking them is not an option.
fugcope how you can read Atomic Habits
>>34442601I’m on antipsychotics and I had the same problem. Either your dose is incorrect or you can do what I did and introduce ADHD meds. I was diagnosed with adhd in the past but when they tested me I didn’t have adhd. With my psychiatrist’s approval I started on Guanfacine. It almost immediately stopped me from sleeping the day away
>>34442610That's the thing is that I don't know how to cope>>34442623I have already asked my doctor for stimulants and he said it would cause mania
>>34442601Talk to your doctor or psychiatrist and ask for a med review. Tell them how you're feeling. They might be willing to cut back or take you off some of your medications.Good luck and godspeed.

>>34442601The maximum dose of methylphenidate for treating epilepsy is 80mg. Perhaps reducing the dose of intelligence-depleting drugs... I mean antipsychotics (joke about antipsychotics literally shrinking your brain, look it up) would be an option.
>>34446343>The maximum dose of methylphenidate for treating epilepsy is 80mg>methylphenidate>treating epilepsyMethylphenidate is a stimulant used for treating ADHD. People with epilepsy are supposed to stay the FUCK away from stimulants.
>>34442601Tell your doctors. All pills have side effects and there are always alternative pills that might have different or lesser side effects. And if you have more than one doctor prescribing, make sure they both/all know what each other is giving you, because lots of meds don't combine well. But mainly say "Med A is giving me problems. Isn't there a Med B that might not be quite as good as Med A but would have less side effects? I might be better off with that trade-off."
>>34447957I have tried every med out there and nothing seems to help me the way they should
