I think if you call a guy a dick you're just calling him a jerk, or rude, someone unpleasant. But if you call a girl a cunt, you are referring to her pussy, taking away their personhood, and inferring there's no use for other than her having a vagina. I think the equivalent is actually calling a guy a bitch, inferring that their manhood is fundamentally inferior.
