Well depends what you got going on in your life. I think that past a certain point in life people are just tired and actually waiting for death.

I was pretty tired at 6 years old.

You mean 'even when you were 6~7 years old' or '67 years old'?

For the former, probably not. Kids just don't usually think about death in general, and that is good and expected. They have their whole life ahead, they haven't experienced much in life, specially (usually) in terms of death. They usually have plenty of hopes and dreams.

Well, I'm mostly talking about my own perspective. I think I've first started having such thoughts when I was like, 14 or something, and even then it wasn't a super strong thing. Just something on the far back of my mind.

Get mistreated enough and those thoughts might happen.

read the book "how to not kill yourself" by Clancy Martin.
The author made an audiobook version that might be in your local library, I listened to it on libby.
It talks about this phenomenon and a lot of other stuff about suicide, very informative!

Yeah.. every day. I really don't know how I survived. But at least I'm ok now. Just memories.

Thanks I will ask AI to summarize it for me.

No. My youngest brother first expressed suicidal thoughts around that age and disappeared in his 20s. He displayed most of the autism tells around age 3-4 and became gradually detached through his teens and early 20s.

I made it through my 20s. I'm 30 now. I should be fine. Just being woe is me.
