How do you keep on continuing an activity you started out of interest. Like you decide to learn to draw but quickly stop it because of lack of progress but you are still interested. What the fuck is wrong with me

This keeps happening to me with sewing.
Research.
The things I was getting discouraged by were easily fixed but I didn't have the knowledge base to know what was wrong let alone how to fix it.
