>Sent a drunk message over bumble to a vet tech girl about how upset I was when I had to take my cat to the ER>she matches with me and says they prefer people who care over people who don't and it's cute>next day wake up and realize my mistake>tell her I can't try and date or build a relationship with a woman after sharing something so vulnerable >unmatchHow can I prevent this in the future? Just not use apps while drinking? I don't want to be caught in this scenario again.
>>34450985How to prevent this does sound like to not use apps while drinking, but do you have control over yourself while drinking enough to not use apps? Now that I've answered your question... bro, why are you fumbling the bag? The point of building a relationship is sharing vulnerable things. Sure you weren't dating yet, but you could've been. I see nothing wrong with being authentic with a potential match.
>>34450999First, nice trips, Second >The point of building a relationship is sharing vulnerable thingsNot falling for that. I cried in front of a woman once and told her about my childhood issues, and later she told me it gave her the ick. Never fucking again. And no I don't because when I drink I get lonely.
>>34451008Can relate never share your issueswomen hate thatthen you are left with a women who doesnt give a fuck aboutyou anymore and you even gave her weapons to fuck you up with
>>34451008It does give some women the ick. If you want to be with a woman who actually cares about you and some some facade, you have to share things. A good woman worth keeping will not say your vulnerabilities are ick and won't use them against you. If she uses anything you share against you like that, then you can detach because you just found her ick in that she's not a nice person. You had an opening anon. How would a vet tech use the fact that you care about your cat against you? She's a vet tech, she cares about animals too. Enough to actually make a career out of it.
>>34451008Oh, also there is a big difference between saying you got upset over your cat going to the ER and crying in front of a woman about your childhood issues. That later thing is really for therapists only. Crying is usually a big ick to women, but if you find one who doesn't mind that, you may just have a really good woman.
>>34450985>How can I prevent this in the future?Stop drinking.
>>34451091They don't exist, that's just 4chan fairy tale talk>>34451079I refuse to be seen as weak by a potential partner. They can smell it. As soon as you reveal it completely, they leave
>>344511234chan talk is all about how all women are bad, lmao. If anything it's my optimism, not 4chan talking. Obviously never reveal your full weakness, but if you can't be a little weak around her, she'll leave as soon as you are. It is possible to find a woman who you can be a little weak around so that one bad day weakness day of yours doesn't break your relationship. I'm not saying be purposefully weak or show her what needs therapy, but you should be able to be yourself for the most part around a partner otherwise what's the point?
