I’m new here, so sorry if I’m not using the site properly, but me and my boyfriend are having some problems.

When I first found out he was into Chinese novels, I was so excited—I genuinely felt over the moon. But then I found out he’s into Chinese cultivation harem novels, while I’m into Chinese danmei novels. Now I feel worried that if I tell him what genre I’m really into, he might be repulsed by me. From what I’ve seen, a lot of people into harem-type literature don’t really like girls who are “rotten,” and I am a major fujoshi.

I just want us to be able to enjoy our interests together. I’m also wondering if this could ever affect him in terms of cheating, since he’s into harem novels, or if I’m just overthinking it.

I think I’m fairly good-looking most ppl told me so and I’m into 2000s gyaru fashion. I just hope I can take him to cons without him being mean about my interests or doing something like cheating.
