Previous roommate had to leave for an emergency and let me without that income last month. This new guy, I explained the rules, he was fine with them. I'm not at home until night, but I started to notice him to disregard all the rules. I didn't mind it because I wasn't there. Then, I've been up all night due to job and I'm sure he's smoking weed. He uses a lot of air freshener, but I nevertheless asked him and he denied to my face. In the next days, it's so obvious he keeps doing it. I let him use other spaces iin the house for work, but he's using them for not working. His friends show up to drink and eat, and he even brought his trashy girl who's been around the house semi naked. I want to tell him to leave the house right now, but I need that income now. DESPERATELY. Otherwise, I'm taking his money for May and then tell him that my brother's moving in so he has to leave. My other option is to tell him he just can't smoke, but he truly doesn't care. I'm honestly tired of him and all of his low class trash behavior. I live in a "nice neighbourhood" and we're not used to people drinking outside our doors and smoking weed. It's like, he feels he won the lottery by living here when it's obviously he doesn't belong here. Also, where I live, not US, weed is not illegal, but I'm sure he's either buying or selling in my doorsteps, which IS illegal. I can't prove it, though. Like, right now, he's walking in front of my door and he reeks of air freshened mixed with something, and either he doesn't notice or he's such a dumb fucktard that he doesn't mind. I know that, if I confront him, he's gonna deny it and I can't enter the room he's taken bc that is illegal. Any advice? Do I risk it without the income for the month and I ask him to leave now or wait until May after I took his money?
