I'm turning 26 next month, and since I was 19, I've dealt with random neurological issues. At the beginning, I had pain so bad that there was nothing I could do but lay in bed and wait for it to go away, which caused me to have to drop out of college. I procrastinated seeing a doctor because I figured whatever was causing it would just kill me. When I finally saw a doctor, they basically did every blood test possible and told me everything was perfectly fine. Luckily, a lot of my symptoms have greatly resolved on their own but haven't completely vanished, and I still have pain in my appendages, but I am able to live a somewhat normal life now. Now I'm in a situation where I'm soon to be 26 years old and I've never had a job, I have a learner's permit but can't drive, I have no money, and I live in the middle of nowhere in a $400 cockroach apartment that my grandmother is paying for. I can't work any low skill jobs that require intense manual labor like construction because of my health. Ideally, I would get my license and drive an hour and a half and get a job as a library aide or something similar, but I wouldn't have a car. At this point, I think my best option is buying a $250 bus ticket to a state with a better climate and public transportation(not Texas) and live in a homeless shelter until I can find a job and buy a car to live in.
Move in with your grandma? Why live in a homeless shelter? Being homeless probably lowers your chances of getting a job i think as well. Grab life by the balls and say "you won't control me anymore" and head outside and look for some simple job you can do around your area and then save up little by little since your grandma pays for the apartment and not you
