hi everybody, im really struggling to get a boyfriend at school i am a conventionally attractive female in high school but the problem is im a retarded autist, and everytime i open my mouth i see men visibly recoil. i often see much less attractive women get attractive men... how do i talk to men? what can i do about my mannerisms/speech to help me be more appealing to men?
>>34469774do you wash your teeth? clean your breath?
Apparently repeating what they said as a question helps. I think sometimes they wanna talk to a wall.
>>34469774First, you're probably not an autist so shut the fuck up about that. Second, you're probably as interesting as a piece of cardboard. Read some books, learn history, develop a hobby and be an interesting person.
>>34469804what the fuckwhere did you get that idea
yes i do, i meant it in a metaphorical sense, they dont physically recoil when i open my mouth. but the moment i start actually speaking they think im weird sorry for the confusion
>>34469822im diagnosed autistic dumbass faggot
>>34469774If you are conventionally attractive as a girl, you are almost guaranteed to find someone, like 99.9% chance, for real. If they recoil as you say, it might be just because they either feel intimidated, scared (many men are scared of girls), or you may talk too loudly or something.Just approach calmly and try to make light conversation. say hi, introduce yourself, ask their name, try to talk about something you have in common or ask a question about something related to your studies, that sort of thing. If you feel unsure of what to say next, you can let them take the lead in the conversation.
>>34469859Sure and I'm the king of England, faggot. I have no doubt in you're completely retarded socially. Learn normies social cues and blend in. Yes it's hard but it's the only way forward for social retards like us.
>>34469836maybe your voice doesn't match your tone
>>34469774just date another autist. if you look hard enough youll find another conventionally attractive autist. dating a non-autist will never make you happy>t. guy dating a girl that thinks making bmb threats is funny
Most autistic people can't even pretend to give a shit about anything except themselves and their obsessive interests. Nobody wants to be around someone like that. Not saying that IS you but if it is you'll have to work on it. Asking a few (not relentless, a few) questions about guys' interests is an easy way to start. Trick is actually giving a shit about the answer though. Idk I've had nothing but bad experiences with autistic people. They're generally rude as fuck and entirely unaware of it. Good luck though, sincerely.
>>34469774Ugh fine Ill do it
>high schoolYou're still a kid. Way too early to worry about it.
>>34469774From an autistic man who's now a young adult who dated an autistic woman during his junior year of high school: In high school, no one knows what they are doing. No one really knows who they are. No one even knows what they're even going to do for the rest of their life. All of these are huge red flags for a relationship. On top of that, you're autistic so you're likely struggling to keep up with your peers socially, which can wreck havoc on your self esteem, which can lead you down a dangerous and abusive path in the relationship world. Right now you're probably feeling what will most likely be one of the most intense periods of loneliness in your life, because you're being surrounded by all of these expectations and you have no real sense of self identity to fall back on like adults do when they struggle. Your eyes are likely focused on what's going on in the outside world around you, but what you really need to do to be a good partner is focus on what's going on with the thoughts in your head. How is your physical health? Mental health? What interests you? What are your hobbies? What kind of men are you interested in? Do you know why you like them? What would their role be in the relationship? What would you like your role to be? Do you know the signs of an abusive relationship? Do you have friends and family you can rely on? Asking these questions early on is better than making a rash judgement and getting stuck with consequences that you aren't emotionally ready to deal with. Answering these questions will help give you guidance on what kind of boyfriend to look for, what traits will make you desirable, and how to take care of yourself so that you can be at that most attractive state.
>>34469990Idk if I'm autistic but the only place you can find me at is my job, one shop and my rented flat. That's why I'm recently trying to take new routes, walk to another shop, and to force myself to talk with random people.(which I have managed exactly once in those 3 weeks, and the old drunk guy was already going to initiate the talk anyway)But I never see anyone my age, male or female.Only people 2-3x my (25) age.I was looking primarily to befriend someone but if I could convert to a mate later on that would be cool.>Go to clubTo what? We don't have those here.(not that I would want someone who attends these anyway)>Hobby clubs<15k city there. We don't do those. All my interests are at home anyway. I'm not going to go for something I don't enjoy just to have a chance at finding new friends.>bikingLargely solitary unless big city.>travelI hate travel, except for one big city nearby.>schoolGraduate here, but I did track down the phone number of one person from my higher edu and renewed that friendship like a week ago. Kinda.
>>34469774you probably just aren't as pretty as you think.Alternatively if you're too good looking men won't even bother approaching you
For starters stop trying too hard to be cool or elite in every interaction you are with a guy. Guys who have the mentality of a pothead who whine about being forced to do the dishes may like that, but truly decent men like decent women. Next, when you say something mean it instead of beating around the bush when you are with a guy throwing things off when you talk to him. Guys like women who are honest and straightforward. Lastly get rid of the crap of feeling like you are a tortured main character in a world full of horrible people as it just shows a woman who is afraid to go outside instead of one who has a life.
