You do have to feel like a fucking zombie. It isn't so much getting over it. It's more about pushing yourself the best you can when you wake up. When you are motivated for your job, nothing will stop it. Stay motivated when your alarm clock goes off and put it above the groggy feeling pain.

Good point, thankfully this is actually a job in a professional field that I'm working towards and not just some shitass wagecuck job, so it's something I'm already motivated for. I shall do my best to heed energy through that motivation.

The job site is kind of a long ways from my home (much worse when accounting for traffic) so I'm considering staying at a hotel near the site for the first few days to ensure I'm there on time and to help get my schedule into the rhythm it needs to be in.
