When I turn 26 will NYU delete my email and contact info from my moms insurance portal? I still live with them, I'm worried about my info being on there because my autistic sibling has but her email onto scam sites and it's caused lots of problems for my mom. Nothing happened to me in the meantime and my brother doesn't know my email so I'm fine, I think but I'd still like to be safe. I don't know anything about my moms insurance so I can't check it myself either. Will it automatically get deleted?
>>34474657What you should do is instruct (or maybe guide) your mother (or whoever has access to her insurance account) to remove that information manually to ensure that it's gone from that account. Or just call the insurance company and ask them how user/account information is handled on their end, specifically when a dependent is phased out.
>>34474657Nah. It’s like that song.Every breath you takeAnd every move you makeEvery bond you breakEvery step you takeI'll be watching youEvery single dayAnd every word you sayEvery game you playEvery night you stayI'll be watching youOh, can't you see you belong to meee
>>34475778I'm not 26 yet but If I call them and even if I don't know any info about our insurance besides her name will they still do it? I'll stop being a dependent in a few months>>34476432I don't get it
>>34477221You ain’t got any privacy and you never will, dawg.
>>34477221>I don't know any info about our insurance besides her nameOf your own mother? I assume you want to avoid interacting with your own mom, but regardless, the specific user account is irrelevant (and therefore you shouldn't need it when conversing with the company). They should be able to tell you how they handle user information (specifically: whether or not they delete dependent data) regardless of whose exactly it is, right?>will they still do it?Answer your questions? Probably. Delete or not delete the data? Only they know.
