seriously? how? how can people corporate tolerate cringe?

>yeas anon we need to do the 934th meeting this month for no reason
>random beefs between wage cattle
>wage cattle have more resentment towards each other than towards the people above them
>there is always that one wage slave who bootlicks the hell out of the bosses. always snitching on others.
>the fake performative friendliness
>everything has this weird passive aggressive
>general lack of directness. just this weird formalities that "you should just know"
>a lot of weird corporate jargon and bullshit that adds nothing of value but has to exist because everyone else is doing it.
>still doing things in the most inconvenient way possible although it would take 3 days to automate it.

just to name the few.

I literally can't stand this. how do you make money without having to deal with this?

how can people tolerate corporate cringe.

typo sorry.
>>
They endure it to provide for their family or they are women who naturally submit to authority and thrive in the political bullshit.
>>
>>34474980
>How do people tolerate corporate jobs?
Vices. Gambling, sex, drinking, drugs, vidya. They're all slaves to something. I hate having to work. I can't imagine myself doing the same thing for 10 more years, but I have to.
>>
>>34474990
why have a family if you don't have a comfortable source of income? sounds like a massive blunder.
>>
>>34474996
been neeting for 6 to 7 years now. i have to get a job. but everytime i hear my friends or relatives talk about their job, i feel disgusted.
>>
>>34475007
>but everytime i hear my friends or relatives talk about their job, i feel disgusted.
Do you have a driver's license? I would rather work on apps (uber jeets and such) than to have to work formally, I just don't do this because with this salary I can't support my lifestyle, but if I was a neet and forced to work, I would absolutely resort to doing the bare minimum, doing something I am not managed and can do whenever I feel like it.
>>
>>34474980
Yeah, I can't imagine working at a large office, shit must be hell. My only experience was as an administrative assistant on a well-stablished but small company in my city. It was pretty chill for the most part, only problem was there was this old dude who was one of the higher ups. No one known what his job there was, but he kept harassing us employees, got into fight with customers etc. Other than that, boss himself was nice, and so were most of the coworkers.

But everything you said does suck. Specially the fake performative friendliness and the random rivalries.
>>
>>34475016
i unfortunately don't have a drivers license or a car.
>>
>>34475024
>i unfortunately don't have a drivers license or a car.
Can't you get one? And instead of a car a motorcycle? They're cheaper
>>
>>34475035
motorcycle would be doable but i am not brave enough to drive on on the road here. people drive like crazies.
>>
>>34475038
>on the road here
Are you in India or something?
>>
>>34475090
no, but a third world shithole nevertheless.
not as crazy as indian traffic. but wouldn't ride a bike here. unless i am in the few places that have a bike lane. which is like maybe one city in the entire country.
>>
>>34475105
I'm also in a shithole, but I live in a city that is very developed, so I guess it's fine to ride a motorcycle here. Yeah, I wouldn't risk it if I were you too, it's an easy death. Can't you do other services like cutting grass? Do you have any saved capital you could use to begin a business? There's some ways to earn money and escape the wagie cagie but you need time, if you don't have time you get stuck in the same place forever. That's why it's called cagie.
>>
>>34475132
>Can't you do other services like cutting grass
well i don't think i can provide a private service. very little people have grass in their backyard. grass is usually planted by the government and they hire their own wagies to do the job for a monthly salary. so it's not like a free job.

>Do you have any saved capital you could use to begin a business?
like 500 bucks lol.

>There's some ways to earn money and escape the wagie cagie but you need time, if you don't have time you get stuck in the same place forever. That's why it's called cagie.
yeah, i would never stay in the cagie long term. i don't see myself bearing it for more than 10 years. if i am ever to do it i am saving every penny and starting some humble business.
but those years are gonna brutal.
>>
Why do you even care?
Punch in, punch out, keep relations vague and stable.
I have nobidea how or why people give 2 shits about their workplace. As soon as my day is done, it disappears and people do whatever they need to do on their side, so long as they do not bother me.
I really don't get it.
>>
>>34474980
>I literally can't stand this. how do you make money without having to deal with this?
Work a blue collar job. Go work at an oil field, mine shaft, learn an actual get-your-hands-dirty skill. These jobs also attract men who will be more tolerable to be around then the fake office persona people are forced to take up.
>>
I wish I was smoothbrain like the anon above this post. Ignorance is bliss.

>I wish I was smoothbrain like the anon above this post. Ignorance is bliss.
Which anon?
>>
>>34475237
All of them.
>>
>>34475243
>All of them.
If you're smarter than them, why don't you share some of your wisdom with us mere mortals?
>>
yeah, corporate behavior is fucked up
luckily I work from home now but I used to work in an office. Those meetings were so boring
>>
>>34475502
>luckily I work from home now
It's still a shitshow, specially if you work on software
>>
>>34475175
Workplaces are understaffed. People are expected to do the work of 2 or 3 whe still only getting the pay of 1.
>>
>>34474980
Jobs that hopefully won't exist soon when the economy corrects itself
>>
Become a little corpo yourself. See it from that perspective and what good there might be in it.
>>
>>34474980
because i did a job where i had to carry heavy shit each day and it sucked dick

anything where I'm sitting on my ass and there's air conditioning is a treat
>>
>>34474998
>have sex
>don't want family
>oops get family anyway
Probably the majority of parents on earth are like this.
>>
>>34478931
abortions are less expensive than a family
>>
>>34478972
Yeah but it's easier to just let life happen to you, neglect and torment the unwanted kids, and then blame bad luck.
>>
>>34478992
well...
yeah.
unfortunately, my parents were of that type. they were also the victim of the same mentality, but they learned nothing from their own experience in life, they decided to make another person suffer.
>>
how come it's so hard to make money on a lean and mean small business if corpo rats don't do anything but spin around all day

it must do something? why can't i just undercut that bloat? how is big business so effective if it's just niggas bickering?
>>
>>34479038
wanna go down the rabbit hole? imagine playing a multiplayer game with an economy and you have an infinite money glitch
>>
>>34474980
I work in HR (yes, I know), in a corporate environment currently and fucking hate it. My last job was supporting manufacturing and I really want back into that. Corporate fucking sucks, team meetings all the fucking time, not just doing my job but tracking and proving that I'm doing my job, often in more than one place, being tied to my desk the entire day. I genuinely have no reason to get up which was absolutely not the case at my last place. Everything is over teams or email, except the useless meetings, and AI is the stupid new thing everyone needs to be using. Then there's the constant underlying feeling of stress and exhaustion everyone displays. In manufacturing the job either gets done or it doesn't and people notice. In corporate theres this constant need to always be performative in what you're doing.

Was work always like this? I cannot imagine the office was this fucking bad 50 years ago.
