i abuse drugs and get UTIs all the time. it's like a tingly, prickly feeling in your pee-tubes (i doubt there's much difference between men and women except at the very end).UTIs are one of those things that suck, but they do just pass. if you're desperate get ahold of some relevant antibiotics. for me, amoxicillin helps, but it was also overkill. let your body do its thing, go to your doctor if there's any blood in your pee or your clit goes green or something.

It shouldn't require a prescription, and it helped my gf a lot when she had frequent UTIs, though I think it's not enough to combat an acute infection alone. It's very useful for preventing follow-up infections, though.
