Hi /adv/ I recently met up with a guy. I enjoyed his company and he had a lot of qualities i liked, being confident, a gentleman and funny. However, there are a couple things that concern me, one of them is values based and we clash on that but haven't talked about it in depth but it seems to be something pretty important to him also, and he implied he is something of a pack rat/disorganized and that is also an issue for me because I have family with hoarding issues and I really can't deal with that. What do?

I'm quite a bit like that. I have too much shit that isn't well organized. I'd not try to mother him about it and just kind of respect that quirk. If it becomes hoarding to a dangerous level, then you'd want to bring the right people in.

Offer to clean for him. If he has a problem with you cleaning up garbage then he is a hoarder. If your politics or whatever are misaligned, then don't discuss them with each other. If you two can't hold separate opinions then it's resentment building up or fights waiting to happen. If these opinions are so important that they need to be constantly expressed then get used to it or move on.
