Everyone should have (at minimum) 3 hobbies that they get good at: a physical hobby, an intellectual hobby, and a creative hobby. For example, weightlifting, chess and guitar; or swimming, philosophy, and drawing. Videogames, weed and career-related things are not hobbies.

Get good at these, make friends, earn respect, get confident.

Shit advice. You have to be good at something, you have to show it to people. It must be something people think is amazing. You have to help someone be amazing at it.

The more things you have, the more you multiply efforts and the results won't solidify as easily, the less time you will have to share with others as well. Videogames and weed are not good because it's self-serving, individual hobbies. Movies are on the bad end of being good because you do most of it individually, the joint activity is a few minutes walking back to the parking lot, and nobody feels grateful for it. If you do guitar to play for yourself is as useless as videogames, you have to play to make other people happy, you have to play what others find cool.

Wrightlifting, chess and philosophy are all individualistic as well unless you want to be a chud with chud friends. Weighlifting is work to serve a good looking body to others. Running for a marathon or mountain climbing are also self serving. Only in team sports you will feel appreciated.

I just need to get back on the ball then. I used to love reading and making music playlists and while working out was annoying, it definitely was a net benefit. Nowadays I really only game and smoke/binge drink so it makes sense why I'm not really happy, confident, or content these days. Thanks for the wake up call.

It starts with you retard, you cant suddenly gain confidence by doing shit for crowds of ppl, you need to build it within yourself and then show it to the world, otherwise you'll be a paper tiger fag who folds at any breeze blown his way that doesn't agree with him. Hell you're acting like making basic friends is bad thing

When ur not confident what it is, is that you are serving a god and u are constantly asking: "what should I be doing now in the eyes of my God" over and over and over again that's anxiety u don't know what ur God expects from you. The reality is that the watcher does not exist, you are experiencing
