I've dated objectively pretty girls but am currently with someone who is more average. I like the status symbol of having an attractive girl by my side. I felt like I was being treated differently in public, perceived as higher value, but maybe it was just in my head...

Does anyone else here regret marrying/committing to a girl who was below what you could have gotten in looks? Or does it ever bother you at least?

if you couldve gotten something better you would, why else are you settling
the cope on here is unreal

I don't like using the word "better" -- there are trade offs in relationships. What I said was I was with some girls who were objectively pretty, better-looking than who I am currently with. It's kind of similar with companies --- I've worked for some very prestigious companies in the past which required 60+ hours/week. I currently work for a more mid-tier company. Can I go back to a prestigious company? Yes, but I would have to put in a lot more work which may not be worth it.

At the end of the day, you have to deal with that person. If someone is attractive enough and I like their personality, I would prefer that over someone who is hot and a pain in the ass.

That's kind of where I am mentally, but my mind defaults to the "grass is greener," how I could potentially get the good looks without an insufferable personality. Someone who satisfies my ego while also being a supportive partner

>how I could potentially get the good looks without an insufferable personality. Someone who satisfies my ego while also being a supportive partner
The two are inversely correlated. More attractive people have easier lives so they never struggle and build character. I have met the rare hot woman who was a computer nerd, but that only happened once in my life after talking to thousands of people.

If you just want useless status then get a done up fake pretty bitch

If you actually care about your future and kids then get an actual pretty bitch with genes to pass on

You are stupid

If you have to pay to keep a bitch by your side then you're too ugly and will pollute the gene pool. Stick with other uglies instead of dragging "objectively pretty" genes into the dumpster by the next generation

That hasn't been my experience. The shittiest people I've dealt with have been objectively ugly, overweight --- they are angry because of their looks and probably get treated worse, and their personality reflects that. They become miserable and agitated, often putting others down.

Where it becomes hard to get both pretty and good personality is that those women are in highest demand --- you're unlikely to find one who is single.

I'm above average in looks and have attracted pretty girls with just my looks alone. Where I lack is unironically my personality. I'm interested in somewhat niche topics and can be a poor small talker, especially on normie topics.

It depends on how they deal with it. The people who are born ugly and use it as motivation are among the highest quality people. Obviously the blackpillers who wallow in misery are not doing so hot.

If they're single and hot then they're guaranteed to be insane and riding 1000 cocks.

you could also find a gorgeous supportive woman who was also a billionaire heiress on top of it. holding out for something more perfect just means you'll never get with anyone
>>
What does it matter if all the pretty girls will soon wrinkle up and later become corpses? If you chase them and their whorish ways, you'll have be with every girl of your dreams one day in hell.

That is truly pathetic.

How?
>>
>>34487767
No. It's much more important getting with someone with a good head on their shoulders than someone who turns heads. I've admittedly dated more attractive women than my wife, however I would never think of "trading her in". She always works to improve herself, she's reasonable, she listens, and she makes me laugh. I'm ultimately much happier with her than I was with everyone before.
