everything is expensive nowadays. in order to afford a home in a city like LA both mom and dad have to work. this increases the risk of the child being a latchkey kid. you could rely on extended family like grandparents to watch kids but if you dont have anyone like that then its harder. this also sounds selfish but I really would like to date a woman that wishes to be a stay at home mom because i dont want my kid to grow up neglected. but i am fully supportive of helping my future spouse to achieve her hobbies whatever they may be. but i feel like its good to achieve whatever you want to achieve before having kids. if you are a parent how do you manage it?
