The girl I am currently seeing likely isnt a virgin, but I don’t want to just go celibate waiting for something that may never come. Practically every historical society placed value on female virginity (men didn't want their mothers/wives/sisters/daughters getting dicked by other dudes). In contrast, there was never any value placed on male virginity. It was seen as neutral at best.
