What do you do when your parents are selfish?
>>
I guess cry about it is the answer?
>>
>>34493576
you're allowed to spend more than five seconds on a post
>>
>>34494018
Ok.
>>
>>34494018
My father avoids me and so does my mother.
>>
>>34494060
And why is that? What is your age? Are you by any chance unemployed?
>>
>>34494072
>And why is that

Theyre bad people, selfish and causing problems in my life so i am constantly in a state of fear gives them the perfect situation to continue to be selfish and horrible, avoiding acknowledging they could be nice people who are happy.
>>
>>34494094
Wait wait wait, your logic isn't quite there. Why are they bad people? What are they selfish about?

And why aren't you able to move away / have your own life? You aren't sharing what your behavior is that contributed to these situations
>>
>>34494111
>have your own life

What if my life I want to live is that people give me love and affection? What if I want my parents to love me?
>>
>>34494111
>My behaviour
It's funny how it's always my fault.
>>
>>34494111
I don't do anything, I wanted to be employed several years ago, but my family decided no, Im not allowed to get a job, I have to suffer for some reasons while they are happy.
>>
Today all I did was play videogames and apparently I am the devil for doing it.
>>
>>34494111
I've had my spirit broken over and over for years, I tried so hard to get my mother to be reasonable, but she always took the stance "you're over the age of 18, I don't have to do anything for you".

I lost two jobs while she hid that mentality away from me, once my employment history was completely ruined she took it into full effect and kicked me out.
>>
Whatever, I guess I won't do anything nice for anybody ever again.
>>
>>34494142
Well it goes both ways. We have to be realistic and well adjusted about what we want. you sound really maladjusted and this is what i mean:
>>34494151
>>34494232
Your behavior directly contributes to situations especially interpersonal ones just as much as the behavior of others does. You are not the center of the universe nor the center of your parents lives just as much as they aren't in their own too. You are not a victim unless someone is killing you, etc. Adjust your attitude

>>34494169
You know you can just do things? You have free will, we all do.

>>34494177 lol did you contribute to the responsibilities of the household? cooking cleaning etc

Kek, typical unemployed entitled NEET shit it seems
>>
>>34494236
You don't deserve my help if you can't be genuinely thankful for it. Perhaps a period of absence is necessary for my parents, so they actually can feel what it's like to lose me.
>>
>>34494257
the spirit of service is to do things without expecting repayment. besides, your parents wiped your shitty ass for two decades (probably three), cut the cord dude, you sound totally entrenched in resentments. why don't you go be independent and actually have a life instead of being a man-baby?
>>
>>34494266
People don't need to be lectured about basic human behaviour the way you think they do.

The reason people don't help you is not because they're selfish, but because you are a condescending asshole.
>>
>>34494266
>Your parents

My parents didn't do any of what you think they did.
>>
OP is a bitchy middle child.
>>
Whatever, in 50 years I'll be dead.
>>
>>34494365
How about no.
>>
>>34494439
Youll also die eventually.
>>
>>34494445
Yeah I know I will. Probably because one of you all think its too mainstream for me to help you.
>>
>>34494487
I don't think you will find many people in serious need of help on here.

Help people out the normal way, by volunteering for something IRL, like a community bake sale or something to raise money for blind kids.

People on 4chan only have problems like "I fucked a bunch of prostitutes and I'm a terrible person, why dont good women marry me?".

Who cares, people only care about money anyway.
>>
>>34494521
And I get that, but I can't live if every one of you all is jealous of me. And how can you be jealous of me if I at one point am going be on the streets. Yeah my nice house with a nice computer was one thing, but now you're gonna be jealous of me in a cardboard box? How does that make sense?
>>
>>34494575
I don't know whats going on with you dude, this is my thread, I am angry at my parents, they should be calling me every week and telling me they love me, even if some people have terrible relationships with their parents, so what it's the way it is, my parents should love me as should any parents love their children.

For you, unless you are intentionally and/or planning to upset or harm others, you should be able to keep your nice computer, home, whatever, girlfriend, all these things, the real evil in life is people who will ruin things that are good and safe, like people who will blow cigarette smoke in your face just because they want to ruin your happiness.

The real issue in my life is people infringing on my autonomy, or my freedom, I want to walk down the rich neighbourhoods and just look at their houses, but i'm "poor" so therefore i'm violent, or something, how is that fair? I just want to look. Insecurity can be projected onto others, you can turn an innocent person guilty if you push them past breaking point. I can't even tell my mother right now that I love her without her shaking her head, even though I do love her.

I am rambling but maybe for you, there is a good path and a bad path in life, and I can just say the good path is the one that will ensure you are happy, you'll be 80 years old one day and you will remember everything, may as well live the best life you can.
>>
>>34494763
Yeah I get that too. I suppose we just have to make the most out of the day and hope for the best through everything.
>>
>>34494837
Take care man
