I'v been thinking about it for days, its driving me mad, so i come asking in this camel swapping forum hoping one of you autists could tip the balance one side or the other.

I'v been offered a job in Saint Barths (pic related) they provide the accommodation and the salary is 3.6 roentgen.
The thing is they do not pay for the flight which is pricy! (1200 euro one way).
I will also have to give up my current apartment as i can't afford to keep it if i live there.
Meanwhile the company can fire me for any reason they feel like for the first 2 months (at minimum)

I currently have no income and only 6k at my name, if i take the risk and fail that would not just mean losing one job but also a roof over my head and thousands of euros less in my bank account, all that with no side income or back up.

What do you think?

Yeah, take the job. Just be 100% sure that it is a real job

its a real job, still it doesn't tip the risk/reward ratio balance.

Surely you can keep your apartment up till the end of the two months probation period?

i'd have to pay for that, that would be an additional 1.6k euro, just to keep an empty apartment for 2 months

Do you think you’ll do well in the new job? Do you have a history of being fired from jobs within a year of working?

Yes

I was fired from my previous job (it was a huge miscalculation on my part)

bischt dumm lel?
of course its a big fat NO.
if the employer at least paid for your travel cost (which is normal in 2026) and agreed to not fire you in the first two months then yes.
but so you are stuck with the payment of your flat, payment of the flight and the risk of being fired. its like a tripple risk- plus paying out of your own pocket.
idk i would never do that.

I think you need a new dosimeter shitposter-kun

No but really, does nobody remember this LARP from... what was it, /biz/ or /r9k/ or was it here? I feel like most of the fake shit is posted here.

This site should pay me to call out the fakes since I'm so good at it. I remember every little fake story.
