Part 1. I am writing this on behalf of a friend, he is a 16 yearold guy and has a very confusing situation, part of this post I just copied from some of the messages and turned it into 3rd person. The troubles with his parents have been for a while, since 2022 but it has recently escalated to a more troubling degree. The first time he misbehaved a bit and they threw away hundreds of dollars worth of nerf guns which is not that badbut it sort of got getting worse and worse, he had a lot of issues around 2 months ago where they threw away most of his things but he was able to give away some of it to his friends so they could store it for some time.I tried mentioning to him, to get on their good side and he tried and did as much as he could but this morning he didn't get much good sleep and when his parents tried to get him out of bed but he didn't and then his dad start taking and getting ready to throw everything outside.My buddy wrote this part"Then in summer of 2024 while I was in europe, I misbehaved a bit and when I returned all the computers, laptops, pc parts I had in the basement where all gone. I had around 40-50 pc's and laptops together and many pc parts which when I saw they were all gone I cried for an hour or more and it hurt me a lot. Then in 2025 in march-april they threw out another batch of like 4-5 pc's and laptops (various of pc parts as well) which also made me cry again for a long time. another time was this year in april and it was a batch of 2 pc's and 3 mini pc's and again... It made me cry, and that day I yelled and confronted my parents about it and how I wish they weren't my parents and that I don't want to live with them.
CONTD.And from that point things got worse and worse even to the point I called police, Kids Help Phone crisis line, social workers, and many other people but in the end didn't get much help except from friends who let me keep my items at their place but overall I am in the same loop of items getting thrown out, threats, and more."I know he sounds really fucking retarded at times which I won't lie but I'd just like some advice or some ideas on what he should do

>>34494549Your friend doesn't have many options, he is a minor, his parents are clearly lunatics. Honestly, I have anger issues and I wouldn't be able to endure it. Your friend needs a plan to get out of this situation. He needs to save up every penny he can and get a job as soon as he turns 18 and then cut any contact with his parents. They will turn his life into a living hell and destroy his confidence, turning him into a sore loser if he let them. Tell him to not forget to live his life, study, make friends, get a girlfriend. Usually when you grow with abusive parents you're so anxious and worried that you don't have any development milestones and turn into a man-child. He needs to avoid that.
