I genuinely have no excitement for the future and think that almost everything was better in the past and that things are probably going to get worse.Even if you disregard the fact like I like things like pixel art and early 3D games and shit like 90s and 00s edm, I truly think most things have become shitMusic has degraded and the radio has not played anything good and mainstream in 14 years. AAA gaming, with a few exceptions, is spiraling and rotting with people who are doing everything they can to shit up my hobby and it needs a complete restructure if the AAA industry is going to get better. The internet itself was better when not everyone and their great great great grandpa had access to it wherever they went. It was better when the majority of people who used it had to sit down at a desk. YouTube sucks because the meta for success is now highly streamlined into taking advantage of the psychology of normies, and as a result, it is almost all goyslop. The majority of successful social media posts are reposted content by bots ran by people in india and SEA. It is clear that things aren't getting better for the world outside entertainment. Housing is getting so expensive thanks to boomers and so many changes are being made to benefit them at the expense of the younger generation even though people are complaining that young people aren't having enough kids (they were told not to have kids if they couldn't afford it)People are so blinded by bread and circuses that shit like the Epstein case is now out of reach because people couldn't bother to grow a common understanding like we almost did with occupy wallstreet. I feel so nostalgic for the past and hate how the world has become
