Ikwym but if it helps it helps. If he has tried other stuff and it doesn't work might as well take it. Companies won't suddenly gain morals and decide "hmm maybe this is too bad" because they want stuff to be addictive to get money. That's how it will be.

That applies to the companies that sell drugs, too. They don't care if it actually helps or leads to a healthy life. They just want you addicted so that you keep buying pills. Rather than becoming their prey, it's better to learn how to live correctly.
