Where does one draw the line between being considerate and presumptuous?
Like, how do I show my actions are well-intended without giving off the impression that I'm being condescending or acting like I know their situation more than they do themselves?
It feels like you can't help anyone without acknowledging a problem or shortcoming, which you communicate by the action of helping. People want help but then get mad when you give it to them and criticize you the whole way. And then get mad when I give them distance and let them sort their own shit out

There's no line, just do what you believe in.
Its an ancient question between giving the person what they want versus giving them what they 'need'. There's obviously no simple answer just try to be compassionate, you can support someone without necessarily reaching into someone and fixing them which never works anyways. I would generally wean on the side of compassion rather honesty, that's whats more effective at the end of the day.

how do I know when they need my support or if it's warranted?

"When we get close"
When?
When do we get close?
I can't figure out that stage.
All of us don't even get the opportunity to have anyone to try and get close to. This cartoon was made by foid or normie hands because it doesn't understand the actual problem - we can't even meet anyone who gives us the OPPORTUNITY to try something romantic.
That cartoon is from the pov of someone who has access but can't manage his own feelings, it can't even comprehend a person who just doesn't GET ACCESS. AT ALL. TO BEGIN WITH.

I'm SO pissed

To op's question:

You take out your dick, and if they start sucking it - you cum, and you know they like you. No more ambiguity.

>>How do I know?
You don't. At least, not initially. You have to ask them what they want.

Ask if they want you to listen to them, if they want your advice/recommendations, or if they want you to comfort them.

Usually one of those 3 things is the answer.
