Does anyone else here have this dilemmaI essentially don't want to live anywhere because there's noise everywhere. I mean I don't want to hear construction, dogs, people talking, understandable. I don't want to even hear a car at all, be near a road, hear car doors, hear people cough or sneeze or exist, planes overheard, the sound of electricity flowing through the wires. I don't want to even be apart of human society.Okay simply enough go off grid right?You can't just exist anywhere you have to buy that land, and good luck getting away from everyone and surviving.I'm so desperate. I'd live in a dying or abandoned rural village in western china, on an empty island, in a world completely cleansed from modern humanity and modern life. I hate all of it. Peace and quiet is nice but humans don't like it, so they keep making noise everywhere all the time, and you go insane, and you block out the insanity with headphones, then you ask yourself why you should do this? Why can't everybody just shut the fuck up?
>>34497108I have the same issue, but I solved that by going out to quiet places (villages, walking in parks, libraries) and by using noise cancelling earphones, highly recommended my friend

I also get disturbed by people making noise all the time, specially if it's a loud construction or a party with people talking loudly and all.I like to be with just the sound of the wind on the leaves, some birds on the distance, some cicadas, that sort of thing.I feel bad because I think maybe I'm being unreasonable, people are just living their daily lives in the city, the noise is part of it, but I prefer when things are mostly silent.It legit sours my day a bit, which is why I try to isolate myself.As for advice, I recommend either:>moving to a quieter place, if you can>getting some ear muffs or plugs>putting some headphones on and put something to your liking
I've already been living in tiny villages bu the forest, jere tjere is srill daily hammering noise, yapping dogs everywhere, even inside echoing into your room, doors slamming and a screaming kidsI used to be able to escape this as a kid, there was so much empty space, people weren't this obnoxious, you'd only expect noise on a select few holidays and it was nice because everyone participated and shut it down for sleeping, you had private yards that no one could enter or see you or hear anything. I've now been to many countries around the world and it's seriously so hard to get any peace and it keeps getting worse. The loud people find all the quoet areas amd just drink and yell and bring dogs. There's no escape. I get harassed 75% I even go outside. Yes even in rural villages. I don't fucking understand humans. Everyday I just daydream about setting the world ablaze. End of the world fucking when????
