I got falsely accused of sexual assault like 5 years ago in college, and it's still coming back to bite my ass. I'm working this job and this coworker girl that I've never met in my entire life came up to me and grilled me about it. Anybody else have this problem? How do you deal with it? I would sue, but it was so long ago that I think it might be too late, and even if it isn't too late, I think it would just make things worse. I just want to live a normal life.

deny everything. your coworker can't do anything. if it goes to HR just keep denying it.

Was there any kind of investigation in college which established that the accusation was false? If so, you can refer people to that.

The longer you wait, the worst will get. Sue it, and sue it now, you fucking dumbass.
